Equine Art Exhibition ‘Van Muze tot Meesterwerk’ - where Jana Kunzler will reveal two art projects
Equine art exhibition at De Paardenkamp - a picture perfect location
For the second time, Equine Artist Jana Kunzler will present three unique artworks exclusively created for a muse at De Paardenkamp, a home for retired horses - a place that comes straight out of a horse movie!
Every year, a one-of-a-kind equine art event takes place in Soest, close to the city of Amersfoort in the Netherlands, organized by the Equine Art Services Agency Paard Verzameld and the home for retired horses De Paardenkamp. Jana Kunzler has been selected for the second time to present her work at this unique art exhibition.
This exhibition challenges the artists to think outside the box, leave their comfort zone and get involved with the stories of the horses of De Paardenkamp. Every artist is asked to select one or multiple muses who currently live at De Paardenkamp and to dedicate an exclusive art series to them. This year, this essence of the art exhibition also influenced the name of the equestrian event: “Van Muze tot Meesterwerk” - “From Muse to Masterpiece”.
Twelve Equine Artists from the Paard Verzameld Collective will present their custom made artworks at ‘Van Muze tot Meesterwerk’, including Jana Kunzler Art. The artworks will only be revealed at the Vernissage on June 28th in a small group of hand picked guests. During the weekend, the exhibition is open to the public. Jana Kunzler will present three unique artworks about a mare that fascinated her a lot by her presence and life story. Her artworks tell the story of the mare and the relationship with her owner.
On June 29th, Jana Kunzler will present the première of her first video project about the paper making process “From the field onto the canvas - natural handmade paper by Jana Kunzler”. The artist used a combination self-made natural paper and Himalayan paper for the creation of the three collage artworks at De Paardenkamp. A technique called “Drawing with Paper” by artist. The première will take place as a part of an artist talk where Jana Kunzler will explain her process alongside some examples.
The artist is looking forward to meeting many new people and explaining everything about her art during the weekend equine art exhibition in the Netherlands.
